Admission

Big thinking precedes great achievement.

To embark on the journey to become Iconic, you are required to get registered, either online or by submitting a copy at the school counter. A copy of the prospectus including registration form can be obtained from the school counter on payment of prescribed fee or it can be downloaded from the school website. The Iconic School seeks to admit students with the vision to imbibe values, skills, leadership qualities and integrity, with no discrimination on the basis of religion, caste, color, region, gender or economic status.

Admission Policy

Registration

No child will be considered for admission unless he/she has registered in advance for the Competency Test & Interaction.

Registrations would remain open throughout the year.
Registration will cease 48 hours prior to the start of the selection process.
Admissions for the current academic session will close on July 15 every year.

Registration is not a guarantee of admission and only includes the child in the process of selection. Admission will be made by the Principal and his/her decision will be final.

A Registration Form along with the Prospectus (subject to change as decided by the Management from time to time) can be obtained at the counter of the School on payment of a fee of Rs. 2,500/-.
It can also be downloaded from our website and in such case, a DD for the prescribed amount of Rs. 2,500/- in favour of 'The Iconic School' must accompany the form when it is being submitted.
On receipt of the registration form and on completion of all the due formalities, the child will be registered for admission to The Iconic School. The date of registration may play a role in the event of a tie between two applicants.

Admission To Pre-primary Section

The selection criteria for the pre-primary section will be based on the interaction of the child and the parents with the School authorities. The decision of the School authorities will be final in this regard.
After the interaction, the school will inform the parents/guardian about the acceptance of admission. Admission will be confirmed on receipt of fee for the first quarter i.e. April to June.

Admission To Other Classes

The applicants seeking admission to Grade 1 and above will be required to appear for a Competency Test for the class for which he/she has applied. The purpose of the test will be to assess the grade for which the child is eligible rather than to grant/refuse admission.

Competency Test

The Competency test can be conducted on any working day. Please contact the Admission Office to confirm the date.
An online test can be arranged for students residing outside India upon written request of the parent.
A student seeking admission to any class will be eligible for admission to that Class only if he/she :
1. Has been studying in a School recognized by or affiliated to CBSE Board or any other recognized Board of Secondary Education in India.
2. Has passed qualifying or equivalent qualifying examination making him/her eligible for admission to that Class.
3. Satisfies the requirements of age limits (minimum and maximum) as determined by the State/U. T. Government and applicable to the place where the School is located;
and produces :
1. The School Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate signed by the Head of the Institution last attended.
2. Document(s) in support of his/her having passed the qualifying or equivalent qualifying examination; and
3. Date of Birth Certificate issued by the Registrar of Births and Deaths, where-ever existing, as proof of date of birth.
