The much awaited 3rdAnnual Sports Meet of The Iconic School for Primary Section was held on - 8th November 2019 with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere.
The meet began with the oath being administered by the Sports Captain, Krishna Soni followed by the Ceremonial Torch Run.The meet was declared open by the School Principal and the Chief Guest by releasing of balloons in air.
Innovative races such as 50 mtr. Sprint, Frog in the hoop, Khatro Ke Khiladi, Risky Sweet were the main attractions. The tiny tots of Pre Primary section were among the most excited lot and demonstrated various gross motor skills through their races. Parents attendance at the event was very encouraging for The Iconic family. Fun time with their races added to the enjoyment.The senior students demonstrated their active participation by lending their support as volunteers and compered the event.
All the students from Nursery to Gr.2 were appreciated for their participation and awarded with Book Prizes whereas students from Grade 3 – 5 were awarded with medals. Mohd .Akbar of Grade 3 was adjudged the Best Athlete of the day, the Best Sportswoman 2019 -20 was awarded to Amaira S. Ahmed from Grade 4 and Best Sportsman2019 -20 trophy was awarded to Shani Patil from Grade 4.
The chief guestDr. KK Khare mentioned in his speech that “The young Icons are fortunate and parents are lucky to have their kids at The Iconic School which is providing the much needed sports environment to the students.” He appreciated the schools efforts to take ahead the message of Khelega India toh Khilega India
