The Annual Award Ceremony ICONISTA was held with pomp and grandeur on Saturday, 7th December 2019, at The Iconic School Bhopal. The occasion was made special with the benign presence of the parents and special guests. The event began with the lighting of the lamp to solicit the blessings of the Goddess Saraswati preceded by invocation dance by students of Grade 1 and 2.
The School Principal presented the Annual Report which was followed by the Award Ceremony for the Primary School. A street play on Swatch Bharat enthralled the audience with the mind elevating message and performance of the young Icons. The Award Ceremony for Senior School had students receiving awards for Budding Author, Budding Orator and many more.
The Academic Icon of the Year was awarded to Saisha Singh from Primary School and Akshita Sharma for Secondary School. The Sports Icon of the Year was awarded to Parv Sharma and the Icon of the Year was awarded to Yashi Agrawal. All the winners were awarded Blazers with Pocket Crest, Trophy, Book Prizes and Certificates. It was a proud moment for the pupils and the parents.
The Chief Guest Shri. Somit Shrivastav, Deputy Commissioner Kendriya Vidylaya Sangthan, Bhopal in his pearls of wisdom congratulated and motivated the students. His message was strong and powerful on self-identity leading to humanity. He explained the versus from Bhagwad Geeta by Lord Krishna about the importance of how consuming right type of food leads to shaping of a better individual
