Tournament Report
To boost up the sportsmanship of the students and to groom the students in the sports domain The Iconic School Bhopal organized a T20 under 14 cricket Leather ball Tournament from 10 to 14 October 2017 to give a platform to the different schools and academies of Bhopal. In this tournament 6 different cricket academies and 7 different schools of Bhopal participated. Tounament was organised on knockout basis and total 12 matches were played. It was a thrilling experience to play good cricket with good teams.
The first match was played between Montfort and St. Joseph. Montfort school won the toss and decided to bat first. Montfort made 92 runs and lost 7 wickets. St. Joseph made 78 runs .Montford won the match by 14 runs. Manish Ekka was adjudged as the man of the match.
The second match was played between The Iconic school and Sagar public school. Sagar public school won the toss and decided to bat first. They made 200 runs and lost 3 wickets . The Iconic school lost the match by 142 runs and Sagar public school won. Adarsh Mishra bagged the man of the match .He made 101 runs in 42 balls.
The third match was played between Mayank Chaturvedy Cricket Academy v/s Chanekya Academy. MCCA won the toss and decided to bat. They scored 182 runs and lost 6 wickets. Chanekya Academy scored 103 runs and lost 7 wickets. MCCA won the match by 79 runs. Master Gaurav captured the man of the match trophy by making 34 runs in 32 balls.
4th match wad played between Mother Teresa School v/s International Public School.IPS won the toss and decided to bat first. They scored 86 runs with 5 wickets. Mother Teresa School scored 87 and won the match with 3 wickets. Master yuvraj singh awarded with man of the match.
5th match was played between SPS, Saket Nagar v/s St. Montfirt School. Montfort school won the toss and decided to bat. They scored 131 runs. SPS able to scored only 73 runs. Montfort school won the match by 58 runs. Avinash form Montfort school decleared man of the match.
6th match was between RCC vs Railway Academy. Railway academy was promoted to the next round because RCC did not reported to the ground on time.
